Hello, my name is Clara and I am the new Operations Manager here at ECG!
I have been with ECG for two weeks and attended my first exhibition on Sunday 12th May at Pharmacy Forward in Birmingham. The morning coordination and event set up went seamlessly. We had a great spot displaying our fab new table and chairs designed and produced by Data Image Group LTD, we had many compliments.
During the day I met with many enthusiastic community pharmacists, answering their questions about ECG and what we offer as well as, explaining our partnership with PharmaDoctor. It was also great to meet with Cambrian Alliance, putting a face to a name and saying hello!
I attended a seminar in the afternoon on ‘how to set up a successful travel health service’. This was a great opportunity for me, being new to the industry, gaining knowledge on the operational processes and how to set up the service as well as an insight into what to expect.
Overall, I had a great day and I am looking forward to coordinating and attending future exhibitions and returning to Pharmacy Forward next year. I will however ensure I complete a route planner before parking in the morning next time as leaving the venue at the end of a city centre cycling event, seemed like I was in an episode of Wacky Races.
