Meet the Team
Jane Lambert (RGN) – CEO
Founder of ECG, responsible for the strategic leadership of the company.
I established ECG in 2002 after leaving my post at Milton Keynes Hospital as the Senior Resuscitation Officer. I enjoyed setting this service up within the hospital and developing an improved resuscitation service. ECG then enabled me to further improve resuscitation standards across Primary as well as Secondary Care. My vision was to create mandatory training which was both enjoyable and beneficial to the course attendees year after year, so it didn’t feel such a chore to attend! My future vision is to further improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare training.
“I am passionate about health and wellbeing and I’m also a qualified acupuncturist.”

Lisa Humble – Clinical Governance Lead
My background is in midwifery, whereby I trained and practiced midwifery, in the North East of England and, for a short time in New Zealand, but I had a baby and decided “home is where the heart is”.
After starting my own family, I made the decision to use my skills and knowledge in a training capacity. I gained my PGCE in secondary education, teaching health and social care, child development and food technology. Teenagers did not really get my sense of humour, so I decided to work with adults!
#I have over 9 years’ experience of training various courses to many professionals, including police officers, healthcare workers, local authority staff and dental practitioners. I particularly enjoy researching information to create new modules to deliver.
“I am passionate about healthcare and training and I wish to bring fun, enthusiasm to all sessions I deliver.”

Rosie Joy – Clinical Development Manager – Obesity & Diabetes Nurse Specialist
I am responsible for creating course content and resource packages to enable pharmacy teams and clinics to provide quality services in their communities. I am an experienced nurse with a background in diabetes research, patient education, weight management and critical care.
I came to nursing relatively late in life and was previously a peripatetic music teacher, teaching flute, piano and singing. I took time out to care for my grandmother in the final years of her life, and the fulfilment that brought inspired a change of career. I made the decision to retrain as a nurse in 2011 and embarked on a completely new journey. I started my nursing career in the intensive care unit in York and developed a particular interest in diabetes care, progressing quickly to a diabetes specialist nurse role. Clearly the education bug never left me, and I have been able to enjoy the best of both worlds in my career thus far, by combining an aptitude for teaching and effective communication with my passion for high-quality, compassionate patient care.
“I live in York with my partner and our three cats, Alan, Mabel and Clive. Outside of work, I spend my time knitting, making and growing things, and singing or playing music when I get the chance.”
