For the supply and/or administration of:
Melatonin 2mg MR tablets & Daridorexant 50mg tablets
Indications:
Adults who are 18 years of age and over. (Adults over 55 years for Melatonin MR PGD)
Adults where insomnia persists for 3 nights or more per week, over at least 3 months, and impacts with daytime functioning.
Where insomnia is not caused by sleep apnoea
Where individuals are committed to engage with good sleep hygiene strategies.
Compulsory Training:
- ECG Healthcare Sleep Management e-learning course. Pharmacists who engage with the Sleep Management Service must complete the current ECG Healthcare Sleep Management Course
Suggested training
- Sleep Service Online Training
- ‘Self directed’ study (e.g. NICE guidelines, product SPC, relevant CPPE course)
