Indications:
This PGD covers vaccination against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in:
• Those who are over 60 years of age
• Those over 18 years of age with clinical risk of disease
• Pregnant women between 28-36 weeks of gestation
Suggested Training:
• Vaccination training such as that offered by ECG Healthcare.
• Refresher course for BLS/anaphylaxis
Other suggested training to include ‘Self directed’ study, for example:
• NICE guidelines
• Green Book
• Product SPC for vaccine
