Saving Lives in MK Campaign

As the end of the year fast approaches our Saving Lives in MK Campaign which was launched in conjunction with MK50 has now come to an end!

We were pleased to be inundated with requests from local groups, schools and businesses asking to be entered in to our draw to receive a free CPR and AED session and two lucky winners were drawn out of the hat each month.

Winners included Redway Runners, Willen Football Club, The Parks Trust and EcoDesign Consultants along with schools, sports clubs and many other MK based groups. We are currently arranging the last sessions for our final two groups who were the winners in the December draw – The Redhouse Surgery PPG and Tattenhoe U12s Football Club and we look forward to meeting them in the New Year!

All the sessions were well received and were well attended with over 150 people (so far) coming along to learn how to do CPR and everyone left saying that they felt more confident that they would know what to do if called upon in an emergency but all hoped that they would never have to put this new knowledge to the test!

Great feedback was received and some of the comments made included;

“very informative and interesting”

“learnt a lot of extremely useful techniques”

“really useful but hope I never have to use the skills”

“very well put across by our tutor”

One of the groups are even considering buying an AED for use whilst out on their club activities!

We would like to thank our fantastic trainers Nina, Caroline, Jackie and Kate for giving up their time to go along and run for the sessions for us, their support was greatly appreciated as usual!

Finally, congratulations to all our winners, it was great meeting you all during the year and we also hope that you are never called upon to use your new life saving skills!!

It is exciting times here at ECG and we are delighted with the new products and services we are able to offer you. Keep up to date with our latest news on our websitenews and notices or simply give us a call in the office on 0845 423 8993.
