A new suite of E-Learning courses!

ECG is very pleased to announce a range of new online courses with our new partners at Nimble E-learning! Today is a very big day for ECG, not only have we been busy planning 2018 and the year ahead but we are launching not, 1, not 2 but 5 new courses today!

We are updating and adding: Anaphylaxis, Equality and Diversity, Fire Safety Essentials, H&S Safety Essentials and Managing, Reducing Stress as well as an update to our currently live Chaperoning online course.

All of our courses have been re-designed from the ground up by our in-house Clinical Support team and external coordinators. Being online means 24/7 course access, ideal for tablets, smartphones and laptops or even on the go. Our new online courses include an array of support materials including the use of pictures and interactive activities, online assessments and certificates of successful course completion for you to download and print.

Chaperoning (online):

The Chaperoning course went live late last year and has rolled out to great success! We are pleased to announce ratings have returned a positive 100% score in both excellent and good feedback already and we just wanted to thank those personally who have taken the time to let us know they are enjoying the new online course content.

Our online Chaperoning course has been designed for non-clinical staff such as GP receptionists, who may be asked to act as a chaperone and need some formal training.

Anaphylaxis (online):

The Anaphylaxis course is aimed at any healthcare provider who requires an understanding of the recognition and management of anaphylaxis. It covers the knowledge and skills required in the recognition and emergency treatment of anaphylaxis in a child or adult. It has been designed around guidelines from the Resuscitation Council (UK), NICE, the Royal College of Physicians and the BMJ, as well as the clinical experience of ECG trainers.

Equality and Diversity (online):

The Equality and Diversity course is suitable for anyone who needs to gain an understanding of equality legislation. It provides delegates with the law, knowledge and skills to understand and implement the key principles of equality and diversity within their working lives.

Fire Safety Essentials (online):

The Fire Safety Essentials course has been designed to raise awareness of fire risks, preventative measures and what action to take on discovering a fire. It is suitable for anyone.

Health and Safety Essentials (online):

The Health and Safety Essentials course covers how to comply with the Health and Safety legislation including why and how to ensure compliance. All incidents and injuries in the workplace affect the well-being of your employees and the productivity of your organisation.

Managing and Reducing Stress (online)

The Managing and Reducing Stress course is suitable for anyone who would like to gain an understanding of how to prevent, reduce and manage stress levels. Most people experience stress from time to time, and this isn’t necessarily bad, as stress is a natural response. However, prolonged periods of stress can be harmful. This course helps by providing a wide range of tools to help individuals deal with stress.
