With results back the same day within 3 hours after arriving at our partner lab, the COVID-19 antigen test is nose swab, which identifies if the body has a current COVID-19 infection. You will be emailed the results the same day and be provided will be evidence to support you’re Fit to Fly.
Please note that until proven, the presence of a COVID-19 infection does not mean that you have immunity against further infection of the virus.
Who is the test for?
The PCR test kits are for people of all ages planning to travel abroad who need a certificate/document to prove to airlines and countries they are visiting that they do not have an active COVID-19 infection. The test is not suitable for those who have COVID-19 like symptoms or for those who have had symptoms up to 28 days prior to the test – they should follow all government guidance regarding self-isolation and testing.
As regulations might change and differ depending on the airline and destination, it is the patient’s responsibility to check for the most up to date information. As well as speaking to the airline directly, useful details can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
In general, patients need to show that the date of the swab (not the result) took place a maximum of 72 hours before flying.

Founder of ECG, responsible for the strategic leadership of the company.
“I established ECG in 2002 after leaving my post at Milton Keynes Hospital as the Senior Resuscitation Officer. I enjoyed setting this service up within the hospital and developing an improved resuscitation service. ECG then enabled me to further improve resuscitation standards across Primary as well as Secondary Care. My vision was to create mandatory training which was both enjoyable and beneficial to the course attendees year after year, so it didn’t feel such a chore to attend! My future vision is to further improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare training.
I am passionate about health and wellbeing and I’m also a qualified acupuncturist.”
